Equifit / Hark! Follow My Hoofbeats
Meet Mary Chris Foxworthy. She loves horses and is dedicated to preserving their history. Her passion for horses started when her grandfather owned one of the last horse-drawn milk wagon creameries in the United States. Mary's work has resulted in a series of books called Hoofbeats Through History, which brings to life the impact of horses on human history for children. The Hoofbeats Through History series complements classical education principles, helping children develop critical thinking and logical reasoning skills.

A Bike repair shop that comes to you: Local Man opens mobile bike repair shop in St. Clair County, MI. Owner, Trevor Shick has been working on bikes since he was a kid. He tries to schedule around three repairs a day and will travel outside of the region. Watch this Thumbcoast TV video interview.

Mid Michigan's new law-themed craft brewery features taps shaped like gavels, trial by fire tacos. Two of its owners are former area prosecutors. When patrons order flights, they will be delivered in legal books carved to make room for the glasses and the tap handles are miniature gavels. Watch this SBDC client success video.
